Watch a clip from Jaws, hear a chapter from Ryan Dacko’s book that’s related to it, and join a discussion about how his background as a mariner informed the origin story he wrote about Quint. Come early to have some dinner at Scarlet Fire BBQ! Ryan will have copies of The Book of Quint available for purchase and signing.

Ryan Dacko is an independent filmmaker based in Syracuse, New York. He served in the United States Coast Guard. Ryan produces a podcast he calls "The Jaws Obsession", which focuses on exploring every aspect of the 1975 classic blockbuster "Jaws", both the on-set and in-universe. His fan fiction prequel novel, The Book of Quint, is based on the character portrayed on screen by Robert Shaw.
